Nepal grows coffee in one of the highest elevation in the world away from the main Coffee growing Capricorn and Cancer belt (beyond 230 latitude). Only arabica variety mix of bourbon and typica are grown above 1000 meters up to 1600 meters altitude with organic and eco-friendly practices by small farmers. Coffee processing is done in the traditional way of selective hand picking of fully ripen cherries and pulped with hand pulper.
The natural coffee production provides a source of income for many people in the rural region of the country.The whole coffee process is organic and involves a lot of manual labour. You will taste this love and attention in the coffee.
